Porto Tuk Tuks

Tuk Tuks are a common sight on the streets of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. Their use has also spread to the country's second city of Porto.

Often electric, these vehicles are ideal for weaving through the traffic to afford tourists a great view of the streets through their open sides. Love them or loathe them, it seems they are here to stay.

The operators offer a variety of tours in and around Porto including tours of Porto city, Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Gaia. There are also night tours and even tours with lunch included. The tours usually last an hour or 90 minutes.

Each tuk tuk can usually carry up to six people.

Another different way of getting around Porto is by Segway, too!
