Located near the river and the World of Discoveries Museum, Armazém Antique Bar was something of a Porto institution. It offered a little bit of everything - an antique warehouse shop with a tapas cafe/bar inside and a pleasant terrace outside.

The building was originally a wine warehouse built by the Real Companhia Velha. Armazém means warehouse or storehouse in Portuguese. There were shops inside the building and a monthly fleamarket.

Unfortunately, Armazém shut up shop on December 31st, 2022. Rising rents, a problem in Porto, Lisbon and other larger towns in Portugal was the problem, it seems.
